Objectives: The purpose of this webinar is to share insights and knowledge from representatives of an interprofessional working group for the management of late-stage pressure injuries to:

  1. Highlight the societal and clinical burden of late-stage pressure injuries and review the use of surgical management, including benefits and limitations
  2. Educate on the importance of identifying appropriate surgical candidates and key patient selection criteria
  3. Understand potential surgical outcomes with a review of cases utilizing a surgical algorithm
